Generally speaking, when the wire rope enters and exits the reel, if the angle between the rope and the reel is large, the speed is fast, the wire rope stiffness is too large, the wire rope tension is too small, the number of winding layers of the reel is large, and the rope groove is relatively small. When shallow, the wire rope is easy to break away from the restraint of the rope groove.
On the contrary, if you want to reduce the possibility of the wire rope coming out of the groove, it is necessary to start from these aspects.

(1) Reduce the angle between the wire rope and the direction of the rope groove, so that the wire rope can be retracted and placed in the rope groove more smoothly, which can reduce the probability of falling out of the groove.
When the reel is wound in a single layer and the angle between the wire rope and the rope groove is very small, a large length distance between the reel and the pulley is required, and the space limitation is the main influencing factor.
(2) Reducing the speed and using a wire rope with better flexibility can improve the adhesion between the wire rope and the rope groove of the drum, and reduce the risk of slipping to a certain extent.
(Especially used in metallurgy, steel mills For bridge cranes in environments with a high risk factor, etc.)
(3) Set the tensioning pulley, so that the wire rope always has a certain tension, and the binding force of the rope groove on the wire rope always exists, which greatly reduces the probability of escaping the groove.
(4) When using multi-layer winding, the groove shape generated by the low-layer rope loop is not as perfect as the rope groove of the reel itself, but the length of the reel is reduced, and the angle between the wire rope and the rope groove is correspondingly reduced, so each has advantages and disadvantages.
(5) The depth of the rope groove has different restraint effects on the wire rope. Without considering the cost of life and the length of the drum, the deep groove has more restraint advantages.
In addition to the above methods, the method of disposing an anti-separation groove device can also be used to restrain the retracting and unwinding movement of the wire rope in the rope groove.
The first one is the sliding limit plate, which can move along the guide rod with the position of the wire rope winding out point. Not to jump out of the rope groove.
But there are certain disadvantages: the wire rope will rub against the limit plate when entering and exiting the reel.
The second is the rope rod. The pressure rod steel pipe can be rotated on its axis, and the spring force is used to make the pressure rod always stick the wire rope to the rope groove of the reel.
(The pressure rod steel pipe and the shaft are still sliding friction).
In comparison, the second is more complicated, but the effect is better than the first.
Of course, there is a third type that can use pressure rollers, similar to the structure of the guide pulley of the car crane, and the use of sliding bearings, but the cost is higher, and it is also necessary to consider whether it can meet the installation space.
