8. Precautions for use:
(1) For lifting electromagnets without special requirements, it can be specified that the handling load is not more than half of the attractive force.
When sucking and transporting bulk scrap, the rated lifting capacity is the lifting capacity of the electromagnet.
(2) When lifting high-temperature steel, the heat transfer of the steel makes the temperature of the lifting electromagnet rise, resulting in a decrease in the suction force, and the magnetic properties of the steel itself deteriorate, which reduces the suction force.
When the temperature reaches 730 ℃, the steel completely loses its magnetism, and any strong magnetism cannot attract objects at this time. When lifting the electromagnet of high-temperature steel, the excitation coil should be protected against heat conduction and heat radiation.
(3) Suction and lifting of rusted steel or sandwich steel plate will reduce the suction force, which is a dangerous operation.
(4) When lifting scrap steel, try to make the electromagnet flat on the scrap steel, and pay attention to the danger that the scrap steel standing upright or protruding from the electromagnet may fall at any time.
(5) Steel with serious bending or unevenness, as well as steel with oxide scale, sand or interlayer on the adsorption surface, cannot be lifted with a lifting electromagnet.
