5 Ton Bridge Crane

The working process of the grab

There are 4 actions: lower bucket, grab, lift and open bucket;

Grab type

Grab buckets can be divided into five types according to the size, degree of looseness, bulk density and viscosity of the material to be grabbed;The medium, heavy and extra-heavy grabs should be made with toothed jaws when grabbing materials with a block size larger than 60mm or relatively solid.

Grab Safety Check

Grabs should be checked once a day, especially heavy-duty grabs, and should be checked carefully. Parts that meet the scrap standards should be scrapped in time.
① Check the connection and wear of the wire rope;
② Check the wear of the pulley shaft and the wear of the rim;
③ Check the fastening and damage of bolts and nuts;
④ Check the wear of the cutting edge, the cutting edge should not be skewed, and there should be no cracks;
⑤Maintain a good lubrication state;
⑥ When the grab is closed, the dislocation difference between the two horizontal blades and the vertical blades and the gap between the bucket openings shall not exceed 3mm, and the maximum gap length shall not exceed 200mm;
⑦When the grab is opened, the non-parallel difference of the bucket mouth shall not exceed 20mm;
⑧ After the grab is lifted, regardless of whether the grab is opened or closed, the symmetrical centerline of the bucket mouth and the vertical centerline of the grab should be in the same vertical plane, and the deviation should not exceed 20mm.
