In the event of a power failure during work, the driver should do the following:

1. Under suitable circumstances, make the brakes brake or set up other safety devices;

2. In the event of a power failure, all power sources should be cut off or the clutch should be in the neutral position to avoid accidental operation after the power is restored;

3. Under the premise of practicability, if a fault occurs, the suspended load can be smoothly placed on the ground by means of the control of the brake;

4. At the beginning of each work shift, the crane operator should check all controls.

If it is found that the operation of the control device is abnormal, it should be debugged and repaired before the hoisting machine is put into operation;

5. Overhead crane operators should be familiar with equipment and the normal maintenance of equipment.

If the hoisting machinery needs to be debugged or repaired, the driver on duty should promptly report the situation to the manager and notify the driver on duty;

6. When operating the crane at night, there should be sufficient illumination within the construction work area. 

If the illumination is insufficient, lifting and hoisting should be carried out after ensuring the illumination to reduce the blind area of vision and prevent all kinds of operation accidents.

Note: When operating the hoisting machinery under the climatic conditions where the track or structure of the hoisting machinery is frozen or the visibility around it is reduced, 

the speed should be slowed down or effective means of communication should be provided to ensure the safe operation of the hoisting machinery. Impact needs to be taken into account.
