How to perform daily maintenance on cranes?


1. Before class:


(1) Remove dust, grease, dirt and grime from inside and outside the cab, inside and outside of electrical equipment boxes (cabinets), motors, reducers, electromagnets, brakes and wipeable parts of metal structures (including walking platforms, railings, escalators, protective covers, etc.) Debris, etc. To achieve no dust, grease and debris.

 

(2)Clean the track and remove debris that hinders the movement of the wheels.


(3) Lubrication. Lubricate according to the parts, grease and intervals specified in the lubrication chart. The oil nozzle and oil cup are complete, the oil passage is smooth, all parts are well lubricated, and there is no shortage of oil, overfill, and no spillage.

 

(4)Inspection:

① The wire rope is not broken or worn beyond the limit, and the connection is reliable and fixed.
②The hook, pulley, and drum are free of cracks and jams, and the wire rope does not come out of the groove.
⑧The shaft has no looseness, cracks or other abnormalities.
④The brake spring is not broken, the gap is appropriate, and the braking is sensitive and reliable; during operation, the temperature of the brake wheel shall not exceed 200°C.
⑤The chain drive should have appropriate tightness. The drive chain of the cart's operating mechanism should have the same tightness on both sides.
⑧The reducer runs smoothly, without any abnormal sound, abnormal shape, and no oil leakage.
⑦The windproof braking device has no damage or deformation and is in place accurately; there is no sticking phenomenon and it is reliable to use.
⑧Connect bolts to each part. Complete and securely connected.
⑨ All electrical switches, contactors, controllers, resistors and electrical instruments are sensitive and reliable; the joints are not loose and the contacts are not burned; the instrument display is normal.
⑩The lighting and audio equipment are complete and work well; all safety devices operate sensitively and reliably.

2. After class:

 

(1) After the work is completed, raise the hook, park the trolley at one end of the cab, inspect and clean the equipment, and perform daily maintenance work. Place each operating handle (switch) in the neutral position (zero position), and pull the Power switch locks the cab to achieve neatness, cleanliness and safety.

 

(2) Fill in shift handover and maintenance records.

Regular maintenance (including gantry crane)


The regular maintenance interval is generally 30 days (or determined based on the crane's workload and operating hours).

 

1. Exterior︰
Remove dust, grease, debris, etc. inside and outside the cab, electrical equipment boxes (cabinets), motors, reducers, electromagnets, brakes and wipeable parts of metal structures to achieve neatness and cleanliness.

 

2. lubricating︰
(1) Wire rope. Use wire rope hemp grease to heat and apply until saturated, or use synthetic graphite calcium-based grease or other wire rope grease to apply without heating.
(2) Gear coupling. Apply or inject calcium-based or sodium-based grease.
(3) Each hinge point of the brake. Pour a small amount of engine oil and then wipe off any oil spill on the surface.
(4) Chain drive. Add a small amount of engine oil to the chain.
(5) Check the reducer oil level. The oil level should be in the middle of the oil gauge mark, add more when it is insufficient.

 

3. Check and adjust mechanical components:
(1) Check the hook pulley group and drum group. The compression bolts and rope clamps at the end of the wire rope should be complete. If they are loose, they should be tightened. There should be no cracks in the hook beam and pulley shaft.
(2) Adjust and check the brake. The working surface of the brake wheel should be smooth; the contact area between the brake belt and the brake wheel should be more than 70%, and the gap after releasing the brake should be appropriate; the wear of the brake belt should not exceed 50% of the original thickness; the spring should not have permanent deformation or cracks .
(3) Check the reducer. Open the sight hole cover and check the gear oil condition. The gears mesh well, the oil is clean and free of impurities, and the box has no cracks.
(4) Check the coupling. Check the axis deflection and axial installation position. If they do not meet the requirements, they should be adjusted.
(5) Check the wheels and angular bearings. Check the operating conditions of the large and small wheels, and adjust them if there is serious road chewing. The angle bearing seat should have no cracks and the bolts should be complete and not loose.
(6) Check the horizontal roller and vertical roller. The rollers should rotate flexibly without serious slippage.
(7) Check all transmission parts and supporting parts. No cracks, open welds or significant deformation.
(8)Performance check. All parts run smoothly without abnormal noise or abnormality; the braking performance is reliable, the bearing sound is normal and uniform, and its temperature (during operation) should not exceed 80°C.

 

4. Check the metal structure:
There should be no significant deformation of components, no cracks in the basic metal and connecting welds, and no loosening or falling off of connecting bolts.

 

5. Check and debug electrical components:
(1) Clean and check the motor. Wipe the oil stains on the surface of the casing, purge the ventilation slots, and remove the brush powder inside the machine. There should be no obvious unevenness or burns on the surface of the brush and slip ring; the brush should be able to be installed freely into the brush frame, and its wear amount should not exceed 1/3 of the original height; the contact area between the brush and the slip ring should reach 75% of its cross section % or more to maintain good contact. The spring should be free from breakage and permanent deformation. The lead wires are well wrapped and connected securely. All connecting bolts are complete and not loose. The motor runs smoothly, without abnormal vibration or noise, the brush sparks are normal, and the motor temperature rises normally.
(2) Clean and check the main controller and cam controller. Clean the internal dust and debris, and add a small amount of lubricating oil to all rotating shafts. The dynamic and static contacts should be in good contact, the combined length in the width direction should be greater than 3/4, and the amount of corrosion should not be greater than 40% of the original thickness; each spring should have no cracks or permanent deformation, and its pressure should be moderate. During operation, each gear is clearly positioned and light.
(3) Check contactors, relays, electromagnets and limiters. Polish the contacts, eliminate ablation spots, and replace severely burned contacts. The contacts should have good contact and moderate pressure. The arc extinguishing cover should be complete and in good condition, and the shaft pin should not be loose. When working, the suction and breaking are accurate, there is no jamming or jitter, the reset is good, and there is no abnormal noise.
(4) Check the resistor. There is no dirt or rust on the surface, the bolt connections are not loose, and the leads are well connected. There is no breakage in the resistor sheet or resistor wire.
(5) Check the fuse. The melt capacity should be selected correctly and should not be replaced arbitrarily with copper wire or other metals.
(6) Lighting, audio and power supply devices. The lighting and audio equipment are complete and in good condition. The electrical conductor leads should be well connected without any abnormality. The current collector should be in good contact, the contact area should be greater than 75%, and there should be no serious sparks during operation. Rubber-sheathed cables and conductors should have five metal exposed and damaged.

 

6. Keep a record of resolved or unresolved problems as a basis for next maintenance and inspection.
