10 ton Single Girder Overhead Crane installation

1. On-site construction organization

Designate project managers, technical leaders, mechanical installers, electrical installers, site leaders, quality inspectors, and construction safety officers.

2. Labor plan and total construction period

① According to the quantity of single-girder crane installation in this project, it is planned to determine the number of on-site management personnel and relevant technical personnel, and the number of installation and construction personnel.

② Construction progress: The total construction period of the single-girder crane is about a few days: If the user requires a shortened construction period due to production needs, the construction party should increase the technical personnel at any time to ensure that the required construction period is completed, so that the single-girder crane can be put into production as planned.

3. Preparations before installation

① Selection of venue

There should be enough usable area on the installation site to meet the needs of single girder crane installation and equipment lifting. The construction site should have a construction power source for connecting welding equipment and other electric tools.

②Equipment and tool preparation

Welding machines, oxygen and acetylene tools for this installation project; ladders, fitter tools, electrician tools, small electric tools and cranes (select a car crane based on the maximum weight of a single piece of the crane).

③ Preparation of construction materials

The rails and rail accessories, power supply trolley line and trolley line accessories, car gear materials, etc. required for this installation project are fully prepared according to the actual usage.

4. Attention to crane installation and welding

① In order to prevent fire and explosion accidents, the workplace should be carefully inspected before operation, and hot welding is strictly prohibited in the fire-free zone of the enterprise.

② There shall be no flammable and explosive materials within 10m around the workplace.

③When performing gas welding or gas cutting operations, carefully check the bottle valve, pressure reducing valve and rubber hose to ensure that there is no air leakage, and the screwing and dismounting of the valve must be carried out in strict accordance with the operating procedures.

④ When performing electric welding operations, it should be noted that if the current is too large and the foreskin of the wire is damaged, a lot of heat will be generated, or poor contact at the joint will easily cause a fire. Therefore, check carefully before operation and replace defective equipment.

⑤ It should be noted that when welding and cutting pipes and equipment, heat conduction can cause fire and explosion of flammable and explosive materials at the other end, so check carefully before operation and remove dangerous materials at the other end.

⑥When cutting old equipment and scrap iron and steel, care should be taken to remove flammable and explosive materials mixed in them to prevent fire and explosion accidents.

⑦Welding and cutting operations are prohibited when one of the following conditions exists at the workplace:

a. When a large amount of flammable materials such as paint, cotton, hay, etc. are piled up, and effective protective measures cannot be taken;

b. When welding and cutting may form flammable and explosive vapors or accumulate explosive dust;

c. Newly painted structures that have not yet fully dried;

d. Containers, devices and pipelines under pressure or loaded with flammable, explosive or toxic media.

⑧At the work site, a sufficient number of fire extinguishing equipment should be equipped, and the validity period of the fire extinguishing equipment should be checked to ensure that the fire extinguishing equipment is effective and available.

⑨ After the welding and cutting operations are completed, the site should be carefully inspected to eliminate the remaining fire and avoid future troubles.
