The Overload Limiter is devices used to protect cranes and other lifting equipment from overloading. They are designed to prevent equipment failure and ensure safe and efficient lifting operations. The load cells are responsible for sensing the weight of the load being lifted, while the control unit is responsible for processing this information and activating an alarm or shutdown mechanism if the weight exceeds the maximum safe limit. The main function
1. Early warning function: When the lifting capacity is ≥ 90% of the rated weight, a low-frequency sound and light alarm will be issued.
2. Alarm protection: When the lifting capacity is ≥ 100% of the rated weight, a high-frequency sound and light alarm will be issued. If the alarm is not cleared after a certain period of time (can be set manually), the lifting circuit will be automatically disconnected and the lifting action will be prohibited. At the same time, a continuous long-sounding alarm sound and high-frequency flashing of the alarm indicator light are issued.
3. Immediate protection: When the lifting weight is greater than or equal to 105% of the rated weight, the lifting circuit will be disconnected immediately, and the lifting action is prohibited. At the same time, a long beeping alarm sound and a high-frequency flashing alarm indicator light are issued.
4. Record of overloading times: When Overload Limiter work normally, record the number of overloading.
5. Accumulated working time record: record the accumulative working time of the crane.
