How To Maintain The Grab Bridge Crane?
 

The maintenance of grab bridge cranes mainly focuses on three aspects: cart, trolley, and grab.
 

Cart inspection and maintenance of grab bridge crane:
 

1. If serious wear is found on the wheels of the cart, immediately check whether the tracks and wheels are regular.
 

2. The starters at both ends of the bridge must be adjusted to ensure that both ends of the crane start or stop synchronously.
 

3. Check that the anchor bolts are not loose.
 

4. The traveling mechanism of the cart is driven separately. Pay attention to the phase sequence of the wiring of the motors on both sides, so that the motors run in the same direction. After confirming that the wiring is correct, the test run can be started.

Inspection and maintenance of the trolley of the grab crane:
 

1. The power cables supplying power to the trolley should be protected from oil to prevent corrosion.
 

2. The driver must always ensure that the bolts loosened due to vibration are tightened.
 

3. Any damaged, defective or incomplete spreader shall not be used.
 

4. The wire rope shall not be corroded and damaged by heat, humidity, paint, acid and alkali
 

Inspection and maintenance of spreader:
 

The safety of the crane grab is reflected in the safety of grabbing materials. Due to the frequent closing and separating actions, the hydraulic transmission parts of the grab are the link that is most prone to problems.
 

Grabs should be checked once a day, especially for heavy-duty grabs, which should be checked carefully. The parts that meet the scrap standard should be scrapped in time.
 

1. To check the wear of the cutting edge, the cutting edge should not be skewed or cracked;
 

2. Check the wear of the pulley shaft and the wear of the rim;
 

3. When the grab is opened, the non-parallel difference of the bucket mouth shall not exceed 20mm;
 

4. Check the wire rope's connection and wear;
 

5. To maintain a good lubrication state;
 

6. When the grab is closed, the misalignment difference between the two horizontal blades and the vertical blades and the gap at the contact point of the bucket mouth shall not exceed 3mm, and the length of the maximum gap shall not exceed 200mm;
 

7. Check the fastening and damage of bolts and nuts;
 

8. After the grab is lifted, the symmetrical center line of the bucket mouth and the vertical center line of the grab should be in the same vertical plane no matter when the grab is opened or closed, and the deviation should not exceed 20mm.

How often should a grab bridge crane be inspected?
 

The unit using the grab bridge crane should always check and maintain the hoisting machinery in use, and formulate a regular inspection management system, including daily inspection, weekly inspection, monthly inspection, and annual inspection, and dynamically monitor the crane. The situation can be found at any time and dealt with in time, so as to ensure the safe operation of the hoisting machinery.
 

(1) Daily inspection.
 

Routine maintenance items that the driver is responsible for the operation, the main content is cleaning, lubrication of transmission parts, adjustment and fastening work. Test the sensitivity and reliability of the safety device through operation, and monitor whether there is any abnormal sound during operation.
 

(2) Weekly inspection.
 

It is jointly carried out by the maintenance worker and the driver. In addition to the daily inspection items, the main content is the appearance inspection, inspection of the safety status of the hook, pick-up device, wire rope, etc., the sensitivity and reliability of the brake, clutch, and emergency alarm device. Observe whether there are abnormal noises and overheating of the transmission parts.
 

(3) Monthly inspection.
 

The inspection is organized by the equipment safety management department and carried out jointly with relevant personnel of the user department. In addition to the weekly inspection content, it mainly conducts state inspections on the power system, hoisting mechanism, slewing mechanism, operating mechanism, and hydraulic system of the hoisting machinery, and replaces worn, Deformed, cracked and corroded parts, for the electrical control system, check whether the power supply device, controller, overload protection and safety protection device are reliable. Check the failure symptoms caused by the leakage, pressure, temperature, vibration, noise and other reasons of the lifting machinery through the test operation.
 

Through observation, the structure, support, and transmission parts of the crane are subjectively inspected under the state, to understand the technical status of the whole crane, and to check and determine the fault source of the abnormal phenomenon.
 

(4) Annual inspection.
 

The leader of the unit organizes the equipment safety management department to take the lead, and jointly carry out with the relevant departments. In addition to the monthly inspection items, it mainly conducts technical parameter inspections and reliability tests on the lifting machinery. The wear and tear of the metal structure, the weld seam, the test and the flaw detection, through the test of the safety device and components, evaluate the technical status of the lifting equipment.
