Working Classes of Plant Cranes

The operation level of the factory crane is marked with the symbol A, and its operation level is generally divided into 8 levels, namely A1-A8. When the frequency of use is not high and the hoisting requirements are low, A1-A2 grades can be selected; the working time of A3-A4 single-girder cranes is generally 4 hours a day, which is the most commonly used working grade; A5-A6 is equivalent to the central type of work, and can work for 10 hours. ; A7-A8 is equivalent to the heavy-duty type with high safety factor.

The load state indicates that the stress degree of the organization can be divided into four levels: light, medium, heavy and overweight. According to the use level and load state, according to the diagonal criterion, the operation level can be divided into 8 levels: M1-M8.

Are working class and lifting capacity the same thing?

The operating level and lifting capacity of factory cranes are two different concepts. The lifting capacity refers to the quality of the material lifted at one time, and the operation level is the comprehensive operation characteristic parameter of the crane. The lifting capacity is large, and the operation level is not high; the lifting capacity is small, and the operation level is not low. Even for the same type of crane with the same lifting capacity, as long as the operating level is different, the safety factor of the parts is different.

If you only look at the lifting tonnage and ignore the working level, frequent and full-load use of low-level driving will speed up the scrapping of wearing parts, cause frequent failures, and even cause accidents.

Plant cranes and metal structures work at different levels and organizations. For the same crane, due to the inconsistent load and unequal working time of each operation organization, even for the same gantry crane, the operation levels of different organizations are often inconsistent with the crane, and special attention should be paid when replacing parts of different organizations.

The operating level of the factory crane is an important concept to characterize the operating characteristics of the crane, and the criterion for distinguishing is based on the service life of the crane.

In the case of different loads and different operating frequencies, the driving zones with the same service life are classified into the same level. The operation level of the single-girder crane is an important basis for driving safety, safety inspection, accident analysis and calculation, and determination of scrap standards for parts.

Generally speaking, the level of operation is different, the safety factor is different, and the invalidation standards are also different. In general, the operating level of the factory crane is selected according to the frequency of actual working conditions, load conditions and safety factors.
