Routine Maintenance of 15 ton Crane

 

1. Lubrication of cranes

 

For the maintenance of 15 ton cranes, first of all, we should understand that the maintenance of cranes can be generally divided into: functional testing, lubrication, safety inspection and adjustment, safety inspection and adjustment include mechanical and electrical parts; it can be divided into two parts in terms of time: For daily inspection and regular inspection and maintenance and repair, etc.

 

For the lubrication of the crane, let's first understand the replacement of the lubricating oil of the gearbox. For the crane installed first, the lubricating oil in the reduction box should be replaced for the first time after 200 hours or 2 months of use. When changing the lubricating oil for the first time, the gearbox should be flushed with lubricating oil, and at the same time, the magnetic bolts should also be cleaned. After the first lubricating oil change, under normal circumstances, the lubricating oil should be changed once a year.

 

For larger reduction boxes, the interval for changing lubricating oil can be appropriately extended according to the oil quality. When refueling, care should be taken to prevent dust from entering and ensure oil quality. The amount of refueling is not the more the better, it should be appropriate.

 

For the lubrication of the bearings, the lubrication of the bearings of the 15 ton crane is mostly centralized lubrication. The oil nozzles of the bearings of the hoist trolley are concentrated on the end beam of the trolley; the oil nozzles of the wheel bearings of the cart are concentrated on the end beam of the cart. But there are also individual fuel nozzles that are distributed separately, so don't miss any when refueling. Bearing lubrication intervals are the same as regular maintenance intervals. After adding oil, be sure to cover the sealing cap of the oil nozzle to prevent the oil nozzle from rusting.

2. Inspection of the whole vehicle and peripheral parts

 

For this part of the inspection, the first is to check the track of the cart: spot check whether the track bolts are fastened, visually inspect the straightness of the track, and also look at the wear of the track to judge whether the wheels of the cart have rail gnawing.

 

Next is the inspection of the sliding wire: check the straightness of the sliding wire, the fastening of the fixing bracket and the bolt, and whether the interface of the sliding wire is safe, and check whether the power indicator light is working normally.

 

Then there is the inspection of the total power cable: check whether the cable is fixed reliably and whether there is any damage.

 

Then check the connection between the cart and the end beam: check whether the bolts are loose or broken.

 

Next is the inspection of the trolley track, which is the same as that of the cart.

 

There is also a check of the limit to see if the limit is easy to use.

3. Inspection of the running mechanism of the cart

 

General steps for inspection of cart operating mechanism:

 

Fixing inspection of the running mechanism of the cart: Check whether the fixing of the running mechanism is safe and reliable, whether the bolts are fastened and whether the bolts are damaged.

 

Inspection of the gearbox: check whether the gearbox has oil leakage and whether it needs to be refueled, and also check whether the sound of the gearbox is normal when it is running.

 

Inspection of the motor: Check whether the wiring is loose and whether the junction box is loose.

 

Brake inspection: Check whether the brake can be opened normally, measure whether the brake clearance is within the allowable range, check the wear and thickness of the friction plate, replace it if necessary, and check whether the fixing bolts and adjusting nuts of the brake are loose.

4. Inspection of control electric box

 

For the inspection of the control electric box, the first is to check the entrance of the cable into the control box: check whether the seal is intact and whether the cable connector is tight.

 

Next is whether the remote control receiver can work normally, whether the indicator lights are normal, and whether the signal output plug is fastened and reliable.

 

Then check whether the terminal block is aging and whether the wiring on the terminal block is loose, check whether the various switches are intact and whether the wiring of various contactors and relays is loose.

5. Inspection of the trolley

 

For the inspection of the trolley, the inspection of its mechanism is first: whether the connections of its various parts are loose, and whether the welds are cracked.

 

The second is to check whether the fixing of the buffer is intact and firm, and whether it is aging.

 

Next, check whether the fixing of the trolley running mechanism is firm and reliable, and whether the fixing bolts or nuts are tight.

 

The last is the inspection of gearboxes and brakes. Their inspections are almost the same as those of large vehicles.
