Must-Know Crane Warning Signs
There are some protruding and overhanging devices or components on the 100 ton bridge crane which may pose a collision, blow or pinch hazard to personnel during lifting operations.
The use of safety colors with contrasting colors as the background can remind people to pay attention to quickly find dangerous parts and respond as soon as possible; or accurately identify and take timely actions under abnormal conditions to avoid danger and reduce accidents.

1. Warning signs
Warning signs remind people to pay attention to possible dangers. Generally, yellow and black slanted stripe signs are used. If the effect of the sign background is weakened, red and white signs are allowed. Where warning signs are required are:
(1) The side plate of the hook pulley block, the pick-up device and the lifting beam;
(2) The slewing tail and counterweight of the jib type crane;
(3) The jib head of the boom-type jib crane;
(4) Crane outriggers and obstacle removers;
(5) In addition to mobile and railway cranes, the driver's cab and the bottom edge of the maintenance cage, the equalizing beam of the trolley and the sides of the lower beam that are less than 2m from the ground;
(6) The outer side of the end beam of the 100 ton bridge crane (when there is a pedestrian passage) and both ends, and the protective railing at the interface between the walking platform and the ladder of the mobile driver's cab;
(7) Rail clamps and protective plates for trolley slide wires.

2. Statement hints and warnings
Warnings and prompts generally use black text on a yellow background. Places that fall under this requirement include:
(1) The two sides of the workshop of the crane are marked with words: "It is strictly forbidden to stand under the crane";
(2) The two sides of the slewing tail of the 10 ton cantilever crane are marked with words: "Pay attention to safety within the working radius";
(3) The rated lifting capacity of various types of cranes shall be set on eye-catching positions of the structure with large-character signs, such as the main girder of bridge type cranes and the jib of jib cranes.
3. Prohibition and stop signs
Prohibition and stop signs are signs that stop or generally prohibit people from taking certain actions, and generally use red signs.
Places that require this flag to be set are:
(1) emergency switch;
(2) Buffers, rail sweeping plates, rail end stoppers and lift limit position limiters;
(3) Large and small car slide wires, cable reels
