However, some cranes have small girder sizes, especially European-style cranes. For example, the main beam height of a 5-ton 9-meter European single-girder crane is about 600mm. At this time, if you adopt the above method, it will not be possible to increase the distance. The solution is to find a suitable lifting point from outside the lifting equipment. Drilling holes are usually made in steel beams in workshops (steel structures workshops). If it is a concrete beam, car cranes and scaffolding can also be used as lifting points.
