At present, whether it is a log yard or a wood processing factory, most of the power supply systems of the 10 ton gantry cranes used are realized by using pull cables, which can meet the needs of production operations in general production sites.

 

However, in some places (such as the finished timber site of Suihua Timber Comprehensive Processing Plant), there is a cross-operation phenomenon between log lifting gantry cranes and finished timber lifting gantry cranes, which makes it impossible to erect the stay cables of the 10 ton gantry cranes.

Composition of the coiled cable unit
 

The winding cable device is mainly composed of four parts: winding and pulling, carbon brush slip ring, and tension adjustment.
 

Its basic principle and working conditions are as follows: the driven shaft sprocket drives the reel sprocket to make the reel move in a circle to realize the reeling and unwinding work; the wire pulling action is powered by the bridge sprocket, through the The speed change with the cylindrical gear, and then through the reversing of the bevel gear shaft and the bevel gear, the small sprocket is driven to make the three-quarters sleeve roller chain reciprocate in a circle, and the wire frame is made by using the claw installed on the chain. Reciprocate in a straight line, and then wind the cable evenly left and right on the winding wheel; the function of the carbon brush slip ring is to reliably send the rotating cable power to the operating platform at the top of the 10 ton gantry crane.

 

In order to adjust the difference in the circumference of each layer of the cable on the reel, and to eliminate the phenomenon that the cable is too loose or too tight due to the sometimes lost rotation of the passive wheel, an overrunning clutch is added at the hub of the reel sprocket. Its characteristics match the tension structure installed in the lighting tower to adjust the tightness of the cable, thus avoiding problems such as crimping caused by too loose cable and breaking the cable caused by too tight, affecting production and causing economic losses.
 

After the winding cable device is installed, after many repeated tests, the actions of each part meet the design requirements, and the effect is good after it is officially put into production.
