Especially with the development of the times and the advancement of technology, the safety performance of bridge cranes has also been improved. However, mechanical equipment has a common problem - maintenance. If the mechanical products are not maintained, as time goes by, the equipment will be more or less affected.

Especially when any mechanical equipment such as outdoor lifting equipment, bridge crane, gantry crane or cantilever is used outdoors, the damage to the lifting equipment is unavoidable, and it is generally caused by non-metallic materials such as dust and soil layers. and metal fragments.

When the damaged goods enter the crane, it will cause harm to the mechanical equipment components, and the residue of the parts will damage the actual effect of the application, accelerate its damage, and even endanger the safety of the bridge crane, causing irreparable losses.

Whether it is 5 ton, 10 ton, 20 ton small bridge cranes, or 50 ton, 100 ton, 200 ton, 500 ton medium and large bridge cranes, their structures are almost the same.

From the perspective of external factors such as the bridge crane itself, improving the structural action of industrial equipment, improving air tightness, and using high-quality grease, we propose the following three cleaning suggestions:

1. Cold wash

Use kerosene, gasoline, and diesel as cleaning agents, put the parts into an oil basin with a mesh screen, and wash them with a wire brush. The oil will sink to the bottom of the basin through the mesh screen, and the cleaned parts can be dried in the air.

It should be noted that, such as cleaning the oil stains on the friction plates, use a little gasoline to wash them clean, and the oil stains on rubber parts and leather parts that are not oil-resistant, cannot be cleaned with oil, in order to save oil and achieve better cleaning effect , The smaller parts with a cleaner surface and a smoother surface should be washed first.

Then clean the larger parts with heavier surface oil.

2. Hot wash

Wash with alkali and emulsifier solution after heating, because engine oil, gear oil, etc. cannot be dissolved in alkali solution and will form emulsion. Therefore, an emulsifier should be added to the alkaline solution.

The role of the emulsifier is to penetrate into the oil layer, weaken the binding force between oil and metal, and promote the oil film to break and separate. The solution needs to be heated to 70-80°C, and the parts should be soaked in the solution. After cleaning, the parts should be rinsed with clean water at 60-80°C, and then dried. 

3. Chemical cleaning fluid

It is an aqueous solution prepared by a chemically synthesized water-based metal cleaning agent. The metal cleaning agent is mainly composed of surfactants and has a strong decontamination ability.

In addition, there are some auxiliary agents in the cleaning agent, which can improve or increase the comprehensive performance of the metal cleaning agent such as anti-corrosion, anti-rust, and carbon deposition.

The principle is that the cleaning liquid made of cleaning agent first wets the surface of the parts, and then penetrates into the contact interface between the dirt and the parts, so that the dirt falls off and disperses from the surface of the parts, or dissolves in the cleaning liquid, or forms an emulsion and suspends on the surface of the parts. Liquid, to achieve the purpose of cleaning parts.
