7 key points about stationary jib cranes

1. When installing the column type cantilever crane, the anchor nut must be locked.

2. Confirm the weight of the items to be hoisted before hoisting, overloading is not allowed.

3. It is strictly forbidden to stand under the cantilever.

4. When lifting heavy objects, the heavy objects must be in a vertical position, and oblique pulling is prohibited.

5. Heavy objects shall not hover in the air for more than ten minutes.

6. When the column type cantilever crane is in operation, pay attention to the operation situation at any time, and stop the crane immediately if there is any abnormal sound or abnormal phenomenon.

7. Climatic conditions for indoor and outdoor jib cranes:

(1) Climatic conditions for indoor jib cranes:

① The ambient temperature does not exceed 40°C within 24 hours, and the average temperature does not exceed 35°C.

② The ambient temperature should not be lower than -5°C.

③ The relative humidity of 40C does not exceed 50%

(2) Climatic conditions for outdoor jib cranes:

① The ambient temperature does not exceed 40°C within 24 hours, and the average temperature does not exceed 35°C.

② The ambient temperature is not lower than -20°C;

③ When the ambient temperature is 40C, the relative humidity shall not exceed 50%. At lower temperatures, greater humidity can be tolerated (for example, at 20°C, 90°C). Electrical equipment should be properly designed, or in necessary heaters, air conditioners, drain holes, etc. to avoid the harmful effects of accidental condensation.

④ The working wind pressure should not be greater than: 150Pa inland (equivalent to level 5 wind), 250Pa along the coast (equivalent to level 6 wind);

⑤ Large wind pressure in non-working state: generally 800Pa (equivalent to 10-level wind), it can also be agreed separately.
