End Beam Of Double Girder Overhead Crane

The end beam is connected to both ends of the main beam, or to both ends of the main beam and the sub-beam to form a bridge frame and is equipped with a wheel of a cart. It is the equipment that supports the running things.

Wheels are installed at both ends of the end beam to support the bridge to run on the elevated. Rails are welded on the main beam for the trolley to run.

2. Component:

3. How to Calculate the Size of an End Beam

The main dimensions of the end beam are determined according to the span of the main beam, the wheelbase of the cart and the gauge of the trolley; the operation of the cart adopts a separate transmission scheme.

When assembling the crane, first connect one section of the end beam with one of the main beams, and then connect the two sections of the end beam.

4. Advantage

The end beam has simple structure, convenient processing, low assembly precision requirements, low cost, and high bearing strength. A connecting mechanism is set in the middle of the end beam. When assembling, it is only necessary to adjust the relative relationship between the two ends of the main beam and the end beam connecting mechanism at one time. The position of the positioning connection can ensure the span of the whole machine.
