Introduction

 

The electromagnetic automatic bridge crane is a kind of bridge crane. Its two ends are erected on concrete columns and metal supports, and the space under the bridge frame can be used to transfer goods while reducing the possible obstruction of ground equipment. Like a common bridge crane, it consists of a trolley, a bridge running mechanism, and a bridge metal structure. The lifting trolley of the Automated Overhead Crane is composed of three parts: the lifting mechanism, the trolley running mechanism, and the trolley frame.

 

The lifting mechanism includes brakes, reducers, rollers, pulley blocks, etc. The motor drives the reel so that the steel wire rope is wound on the reel to realize the lifting of heavy objects. The trolley frame is a frame that supports and installs components such as the lifting mechanism and the trolley running mechanism and is usually a welded structure.

 

Exposed moving parts on automatic overhead cranes, such as open gears, couplings, drive shafts, sprockets, chains, belts, pulleys, etc. are usually equipped with protective guards. At the same time, the electrical equipment of the crane working in the open air can also be protected by being equipped with a rain cover.

Types of Lifting Magnets

 

 

There are two basic types of lifting magnets: permanent magnets and electromagnets.

Permanent magnets use permanent magnetic materials to enhance the magnetic field. Permanent magnets used on job sites are usually turned on and off by a handle. They can be used to handle flat materials as well as round parts weighing up to 2,200 lbs. These lifting devices are "self-contained" and can move freely around the workshop, but permanent magnets have the disadvantage of limited lifting capacity.

 

An electromagnet is electrically excited to attract material to the surface of the magnet. Electromagnets typically operate on direct current and therefore require a rectifier. Unlike permanent magnets, electromagnets require a constant power supply, which also means that a power outage can be catastrophic for them. These issues can be addressed with the versatile power supplies and battery backup systems on the market today, and the ability of electromagnets to vary the energized current provides the user with greater flexibility than permanent magnets.

 

Electromagnetic Overhead Crane

 

Matters needing attention in selection of lifting electromagnet

 

1. When the temperature of the material to be sucked is lower than 100°C, please use a normal temperature type lifting electromagnet, and when it exceeds 100°C, please use a high temperature type lifting electromagnet.

 

2. When the energization duration exceeds 60%, please choose the high-frequency type.

 

3. When absorbing and lifting materials in water, please choose the submersible type (diving depth ≤ 100m). The parameters of the submersible lifting electromagnet are the same as those of the normal temperature type. If the user needs a submersible lifting electromagnet, please specify when ordering.

 

4. Ambient environment temperature: normal temperature type -20℃~40℃, high temperature type -20℃~80℃. The altitude does not exceed 2500 meters, and the air humidity does not exceed 85%.

 

5. Equipment matching: When using a single unit, please select the rectification control equipment and auxiliary equipment according to the power consumption (current); when multiple units are used in combination, select according to the sum of the power consumption (current) of the number of units used in combination.

 

Notice:

 

After the automated overhead crane is hoisted, the lifting and lowering speeds should be even. Slow and fast and sudden braking are strictly prohibited. The left and right turning movements should be stable, and the reverse movement is not allowed before the turning is not stopped. For non-gravity descending cranes, free fall with load is strictly prohibited.

 

The crane shall not work close to the overhead transmission line. If it is limited to the site conditions and must be operated beside the line, safety protection measures shall be taken. The safe distance between the crane arm and the overhead wire shall not be less than the specified distance.

 

Magnetic-Bridge-Cranes

 

Responsibilities of the automated overhead crane operator after work

 

1. The hook should be raised to a height close to the upper limit position, and it is not allowed to hang slings, hanging objects, etc.

 

2. Park the lifting trolley at the end of the main girder away from the trolley line of the trolley, and not in the middle of the span; the trolley should be driven to a fixed parking position.

 

3. For electromagnetic suction cup and grab cranes, the suction cup or grab should be placed on the ground and not suspended in the air;

 

4. All controller handles should return to zero position, turn the emergency switch to disconnect, pull down the switch of the protective cabinet knife, close the driver's cab door and get off.

 

5. The large and small vehicles of the cranes working in the open air, especially the large vehicles, should be fixed firmly to prevent them from being blown away by strong winds.

 

6. The driver should check the crane when he is off duty, record the problems and inspections that occur during the work in the handover record book, and hand it over to the successor.
