3. Bridge crane maintenance knowledge

 

1). Appearance of bridge crane: Clean the appearance comprehensively to ensure that there is no dust or yellow robes. Check for cracks and open welding.

 

2) Carts and trolleys: ① Check and tighten the transmission shaft seat, gear box, coupling, shaft and key to see if they are loose. ② Check and adjust the brake wheel clearance to make it uniform, sensitive and reliable.

 

3). Check the reducer of the overhead crane mainly to see if it leaks oil. If there is abnormal noise inside the box during operation, open the box cover and check. It is generally caused by bearing damage, excessive gear meshing backlash, severe tooth surface wear, etc.

 

4). Lifting and lowering winch: ① Check whether the wire rope, hook, and pulley are safe and reliable. If the wear exceeds the specified value, they should be replaced. ② Check and adjust the brake to make it safe, sensitive and reliable.

 

5) Inspection of bridge crane wire rope. When inspecting the wire rope, focus should be placed on observing broken wires, wear, kinks, rust, etc. Some locations with serious wear and broken wires but not exceeding the standard should be marked for focused follow-up and re-inspection. Pay attention to check whether the safety limiter of the wire rope in the drum is effective, whether the wire rope pressure plate on the drum is pressed tightly and whether the number of pressure plates is appropriate.

 

6) Lubrication: Check the oil quality and quantity of all parts, and add or replace lubricating oil as required.

 

7) Inspection of bridge crane pulleys. The focus is on whether the wear amount at the bottom of the groove exceeds the standard and whether there are cracks in the cast iron pulley. As for the balance wheel of the pitching mechanism pulley group, it is easily ignored because it does not move under normal circumstances. Therefore, the rotational flexibility must be checked before installation. Otherwise, the length and tension of the left and right hoisting wire ropes cannot be automatically adjusted through the balance wheel during installation, which increases the difficulty of adjusting the hoisting rope at high altitudes and increases the risk of operation.

5. Precautions for safe operation

4. It is strictly forbidden to use a spreader set to lift heavy objects diagonally, and it is also strictly forbidden to use a crane to pull out objects buried underground.

 

5. Do not use the sudden reversal of the motor as a brake for the mechanism. This braking method is only allowed in the event of an extremely unexpected event.

 

6. It is prohibited to use the limit switch as a power outage under normal operation. The limit switch only makes it work when the control equipment is accidentally defective or the driver's operation is negligent.

 

7. Every time the crane is operated, a warning signal must be issued first.

 

8. When lifting heavy objects close to the rated load, you should first test whether the brake can hold it to ensure safety.

 

9. When the driver leaves the control room, he must drive the crane to a fixed parking location. The spreader is not allowed to suspend objects. Set each control handle to the zero position and cut off the main switch.
