4. Attention of wire rope

 

The wire rope shall meet the requirements of GB/T 8918-2006 "Important purpose wire rope" and GB 6067-1985 "Safety Regulations for Lifting Machinery", and the wire rope connection shall meet the corresponding requirements of GB 6067-1985. The safety factor of the wire rope should meet the requirements of GB/T 3811-1983 "Crane Design Code".

 

The scrap of steel wire rope shall meet the requirements of GB 5972-2006 "Practical Code for the Inspection and scrap of Steel wire Rope for Lifting Machinery".

 

The fixing device of the end of the wire rope on the drum shall have anti-loosening or self-tightening performance. The end of the multilayer winding drum shall have a flange, and the flange shall be 2 times higher than the diameter of the outermost wire rope.

 

When the drum cracks or the wall wear reaches 20% of the original wall thickness, it should be scrapped.

 

The pulley shall be provided with a device or structure to prevent the rope from slipping out of the rope groove. The pulley groove shall be smooth and smooth, and there shall be no defects that damage the wire rope. bridge and gantry cranes carrying molten metal shall not use cast iron pulleys.

 

When the pulley cracks, the uneven wear of the wheel groove reaches 3mm, the wall thickness of the wheel groove is 20% of the original wall thickness, the diameter of the bottom of the wheel groove is reduced by 50% of the diameter of the wire rope due to wear, or there are other defects that damage the wire rope, it should be scrapped.
