Safety Operating Procedures For Cranes In Oil Workshops

1. The driver must pass the training test or hold an operation certificate before he can operate independently. Without special training or test, he cannot operate alone.

2. Before driving, carefully check whether the mechanical, electrical parts and protective safety devices of the equipment are intact and reliable. If the main accessories such as controller, brake, limiter, electric bell, emergency switch are out of order, hoisting is strictly prohibited.

3. You must obey the command of the hook lifting personnel, but you should stop immediately if anyone sends an emergency stop signal.

4. The operator must receive the command signal before operating. When the 30 ton bridge crane starts, it should send a clear signal first, so that everyone on the scene can confirm that it is correct before operating.

5. When approaching the winch limiter, large and small vehicles approaching the terminal or adjacent driving vehicles meet, the speed should be slow. It is not allowed to use reversing instead of braking, limit instead of parking, and emergency switch instead of ordinary switch.

6. Walk and go up and down on the specified safe walkway, special platform or escalator. It is not allowed to walk on both sides of the cart track except for maintenance. Walking on the trolley tracks is strictly prohibited. It is not allowed to cross from the road.

7. When the work is stopped, the lifting objects are not allowed to hang in the air. During operation, a warning should be issued when there are people on the ground or hanging parts are dropped, and it is strictly forbidden for the hanging objects to pass over people's heads. Lifting objects should not be too high from the ground.

8. When two cranes lift an object at the same time, they must obey the command and keep pace.

9. When running, keep a certain distance between the 30 ton bridge crane and obstacles, and collision is strictly prohibited.

10. When overhauling the overhead crane in the petroleum workshop, stop at a safe place, cut off the power supply and put up a warning sign of 'no switching on'. The ground shall be fenced and a 'No Access' sign shall be hung.

11. When hoisting heavy tonnage objects, you should try lifting slightly off the ground first to confirm that the hanging is stable and the brakes are good, then raise and run slowly. Do not operate three control handles at the same time.

12. When the vehicle is running, it is strictly forbidden for people to get on and off. It is also not allowed to overhaul and adjust the parts during operation.

13. If a sudden power failure occurs during operation, the switch must be placed in the off position. If the lifting parts are not put down or the rigging is not unhooked, it is not allowed to leave the driving operation position.

14. Sufficient lighting should be provided for night operations.

15. The driving safety operation shall be carried out in accordance with this regulation. When driving, pay attention to whether there are obstacles on the track;

16. Operators of 30 ton bridge cranes must conscientiously do 'nine do not hang':
1) Oblique hanging or not;
2) Do not hang when overloaded;
3) If the bulk is too full or the bundle is not firm enough to hang;
4) Do not hang if the command signal is unclear;
5) Do not hang objects with sharp edges without protective measures;
6) People standing on the hanging objects should not hang them;
7) Workpieces buried in the ground are not suspended;
8) The safety device fails to hang;
9) If the light is dark, the hanging objects cannot be seen clearly;

17. Before finishing work or leaving the operating position, the 30 ton bridge crane should stop at the specified position, raise the hook, drive the trolley to both ends of the track, put the control handle in the closed position, and cut off the power supply.
