6. Maintenance of motors and reducers

 

To master the essence of crane component maintenance technology, you must first frequently check the temperature of the motor casing and bearings, and whether there are any abnormalities in the noise and vibration of the motor.

 

In the case of frequent starts, due to the low rotation speed, the ventilation and cooling capacity is reduced, and the current is large, the motor temperature rise will increase quickly, so it should be noted that the motor temperature rise must not exceed the upper limit specified in its instruction manual.

 

Adjust the brake according to the requirements of the motor instruction manual.

 

For daily maintenance of the reducer, please refer to the manufacturer's instruction manual. And the anchor bolts of the reducer should be checked frequently to ensure that the connection must not be loose.

 

7. Lubrication of running gear

 

Secondly, in the crane component maintenance technology, good ventilator lubrication should be remembered. If used, the vent cap of the reducer should be opened first to ensure good ventilation and reduce the internal pressure. Before work, check whether the lubricating oil level of the reducer meets the requirements. If it is lower than the normal oil level, add the same type of lubricating oil in time.

 

The bearings of each wheel of the traveling mechanism have been filled with enough grease (calcium-based grease) during assembly. Daily refueling is not required. Grease can be replenished every two months through the oil filling hole or the bearing cover. Every year Disassemble, clean and grease once.

 

Apply grease to each open gear mesh once a week.

 

8. Maintenance and maintenance of winch unit

 

Always observe the oil window of the crane reduction box to check whether the lubricating oil level is within the specified range. When it is lower than the specified oil level, the lubricating oil should be replenished in time.

 

 

When the crane is not used very frequently and the sealing condition and operating environment are good, the lubricating oil in the reduction gearbox should be replaced every six months. When the operating environment is harsh, it should be replaced every quarter.

 

When it is found that water has entered the crane box or there is always foam on the oil surface and it is determined that the oil has deteriorated, the oil should be changed immediately. When changing the oil, the oil should be replaced strictly according to the oil products specified in the reduction gearbox instruction manual. Do not mix the oil products.
