3. Component:

 

The gantry crane is composed of the upper bridge frame (including main beam and end beam), outriggers, lower beam and other parts. In order to expand the operating range of the crane, the main beam can extend beyond the outriggers to one or both sides to form a cantilever. A lifting trolley with a boom can also be used to expand the crane's operating range through the pitching and rotation of the boom.

 

4. Applicable Environment:

 

Ordinary gantry crane is one of the most widely used gantry cranes and is mainly used to transport various types of finished parts and bulk materials. The hook, grab bucket, electromagnetic hoist, etc. of this kind of crane can all be used for loading and unloading operations. The lifting capacity is usually less than 100 tons, and the span ranges from 4 to 39 meters. Ordinary gantry cranes have a higher operating level and have the characteristics of grab operation.

 

Hydropower station gantry crane

 

Hydropower station gantry cranes are mainly used for lifting and closing gates, and can also be used for installation operations. The lifting capacity of this type of crane usually ranges from 80 to 500 tons, with a smaller span of 8 to 16 meters. Since the lifting speed is low, generally 1 to 5 meters/min, it has a heavy workload after use and needs to be appropriately improved.

 

Shipbuilding gantry crane

 

The shipbuilding gantry crane is suitable for table-top assembly of ship hulls. It has two permanent lifting trolleys: one has two main hooks, running along the track of the upper flange of the bridge; the other has a main hook and an auxiliary hook, running on the track of the lower flange of the bridge. The flip-up lifts large hull segments. The lifting capacity of this kind of crane usually ranges from 100 to 1500 tons, the span can reach 185 meters, the lifting speed is 2 to 15 meters/minute, and the inching speed is 0.1 to 0.5 meters/minute.
