How to install and use the control system?
Normally, the electrical control system of the overhead traveling crane is divided into two parts: the lifting part is on the traveling end beam, and the lifting part and the trolley running part are on the winch and run with the traveling crane. The current layout is to place the electrical control parts of the trolley, trolley, and lifting system in the same location, all on the terminal beam. Binary control is also called centralized control.
Our company generally adopts such a layout to extend the service life of the system, because the instability of the suspended crane on the crane makes the electrical control system unable to avoid repeated swings. The swing of the electrical control system under working conditions is one of the important causes of failure; the overall electrical control on the end beam is not limited by space, and the electrical control box can be enlarged to facilitate the addition of electrical components such as frequency converters, fans, and resistors. Our existing variable frequency crane control boxes are uniformly installed on the end beams.

Different arrangements of electric hoist drive control systems for double-girder cranes. For the LH-type double-girder crane, since the double-girder trolley does not swing back and forth, the LH-type double-girder crane can meet the space placement requirements for the control box; the most important thing is that the double-girder trolley can use two control boxes at the same time. The central control box is placed on the car, which simplifies wiring and saves a lot of redundant cables.

The special functions of the double-girder overhead traveling crane generally require PLC to be realized. Nowadays, many brands of inverters have launched hoisting application macros and hoisting-specific process cards. Using these application macros and process cards to complete hoisting-specific functions can simplify the design process. It has strong performance, good reliability, easy debugging, and low cost. It is recommended to give priority to them. . When you need to use PLC for programming, you should pay attention to modularizing the relevant programs as much as possible and reducing the connection between the module and the main program so that it can be transplanted in similar applications in the future.
The PLC control system can detect and control the faults of the double-girder bridge crane, assist in fault finding, and avoid fault expansion: in order to achieve this goal, it is necessary to collect as much system information as possible on the PLC.
It is recommended to use PLC to collect position signals of various equipment, including but not limited to circuit breakers, contactors, relays, brakes, limit switches, safety devices, etc. If all signals are collected, we can know for sure whether each instruction was executed correctly after being issued. If it is found that the instruction is executed incorrectly, the alarm should be reported immediately, the operation should be stopped, or the fault handling procedure should be executed to avoid further expansion of the fault. The fault location of the double-girder overhead traveling crane was analyzed for reference by maintenance personnel.
