Common main beams are box beams and truss beams, in which the truss beam is welded with steel tube section, and the box beam is welded with steel plate. The end beams are installed at both ends of the main beam and are composed of plate beams, trusses and wheels to support the main beam. Generally, the two legs of gantry cranes with a span of less than 30m are made into rigid legs. When the span is greater than 30m, the gantry crane adopts rigid leg and flexible leg structure.

 

Gantry cranes are generally used in conjunction with winch trolley, its metal structure is like a door-shaped frame, and two feet are installed under the bearing main beam. It can walk directly on the track, and the two ends of the main beam can have outstretched cantilever beams.It has high site utilization, large operating range, wide adaptability and strong versatility, it is widely used in the port cargo yard.
